A single pack, clear, subdued gloss, moisture curing polyurethane. Use as the final coat only in a moisture curing system to achieve a durable, highly abrasion resistant, subdued semi gloss finish.

Preparation: Preparing the floor to a professional standard is essential to achieve the best results. Fill all nail holes with a water based putty, allow to dry. Sand uncoated floor with 120-150 grade sandpaper or screenback on a flexible pad to ensure floor is uniformly dull with no sanding scratches, nibs or fur. Vacuum thoroughly. Take care to avoid scratching the surface.

Mixing: Stir thoroughly before use.

Tools: 6mm nap roller or applicator and a high quality brush.

 

Application:

  1. Timber Floor – Apply a liberal first coat of DURAPOL 1044 or 1045, Titan Gloss, POLYTHANE 2043 or FASTASEAL 3030, 3535 or 3540 Sealer using a 6mm mohair roller and good quality brush to cut in. If using FASTASEAL allow to dry for 45 minutes before sanding, for all other coatings allow to dry overnight (min 8 hours to max 24 hours).
  2. Apply a second coat of DURAPOL 1044 or 1045 Gloss, Titan Gloss or POLYTHANE 2043. Allow to dry overnight (min 8 hours to max 24 hours).
  3. Thoroughly sand floor with 150-180 grade sandpaper or screenback, remove all nibs, fluff and fur. Vacuum all dust.
  4. Apply the final coat of DURAPOL 1012 Semi-Gloss.

 

DURAPOL 1013 Super Satin

  2. Sand floor with 150-180 grade sandpaper or screenback, remove all nibs, fluff and fur. Vacuum all dust.
  3. Apply a coat of TITAN Gloss. Allow to dry per instructions on the data sheet.
  4. Thoroughly sand floor with 150-180 grade sandpaper or screenback, remove all nibs, fluff and fur. Vacuum all dust.
  5. Apply the final coat of TITAN Gloss (per data sheet directions).
